I am always up for new challenges and ways to improve my photography, that is why I was super excited when Erica contacted me about a beach ballet shoot at sunrise. Instantly, I loved it. So we agreed to meet on a Saturday morning (waaaaaay tooo early in the morning for this night-owl). After weeks of planning and anticipating, I was afraid I would not be able to wake up this past Saturday (I set two alarms…one was my husband’s….he wasn’t too happy about that:) It was early, but boy I’m glad we did it! Meeting in front of One Ocean at Atlantic Beach, I already saw the draw of the beach on tourists and locals alike. There were people jogging, biking, sitting with coffee in hand waiting for the sun to rise-at 6:30am (for a non-morning person like me, truly an inspiring sight) . We picked a gorgeous day, because the sun showed us a spectacular show of colors. Erica was ready to jump in instantly to showcase her skills, I love how focused she was! Being as youthful as she is, she has the drive and work ethic of any college age student. I found myself inspired by her beauty and grace and left the photoshoot feeling incredibly lucky to have met such an awesome young lady.
