It’s been a quick few months since Braydon and Jenny’s Pi Day themed wedding, but we are still smiling as we look back on their day fondly! The two have such vibrant and loving personalities, it’s hard not to feel like you not a part of their family once you meet them. Their smiles light up a room (or a reception tent in our case) as they both shine brighter when they are together. We started their epic Pi-Day wedding at the Atlanta LDS Temple, which is a gorgeous temple if you have not seen it! The mint green stained glass on the outside perfectly complimented Jenny’s mint green lace dress. Paired with a true vintage hat, the dress color was a welcome surprise and highlighted her bright and carefree style. Each of her closest ladies had a “Pi” sign necklace, as well as Braydon’s guys had “Pi” cufflinks. Did we mention Jenny is a Math Teacher? They were greeted outside of the temple by their closest friends and family and immediately all their nieces and nephews started rushing toward them. It was truly a sight to see. After family pictures were finished, we walked around the Temple grounds and took some great pictures of just the two of them. Including an epic shot of them jumping! Braydon made the best faces all day, he is such a character. Even though there was a little rain early in the morning, the late morning was cool and rain free!
Later in the day we traveled about an hour east to their reception house and the weather was truly gorgeous. A warm breeze, blue sky with fluffy white clouds, all the makings of a perfect Spring afternoon. Their reception had all the special touches and charm we knew this couple would bring. From the “Pi” table with different kinds of sweet and savory pies, to the adorable “Pi” coloring books Jenny designed for the little ones, their style and personality shined through. We loved seeing their tribute table as a wonderful linking of the families and the slideshow and Braydon and Jenny through the years. The one thing that struck us the most was how warm and inviting everyone was. It felt as though we were invited to a family reunion! The first dance something of a surprise to everyone. They were dancing to Queen’s “Somebody to Love” and at a strategic moment broke away from each other and Braydon danced with his older sister and Jenny her dad. After a few more moments THEY broke away and pulled other people to the dance floor. And so on and so on, until the dance floor was filled with people laughing and smiling, their love had indeed grown exponentially! The party did not stop there though! There was plenty of dancing, pies in the face, and singing along to songs from Frozen:) We loved every minute we spent with these two that day and truly consider ourselves lucky to have met them. Congratulations Braydon and Jenny! Best wishes to you both!
