Wedding at Wilbur Boathouse- Emily and Kurt {Daytona Wedding Photographer}

We met Emily and Kurt first at their engagement session at Washington Oaks State Park. They both were extremely friendly and full of life, that we knew their wedding was going to be the same! Since moving from Florida last, our hearts were aching for a chill, beach vibe, and Emily and Kurt’s May wedding did just that! They chose a¬†venue on the inter-coastal called Wilbur-by-the-Sea. Even though it rained earlier that day, the clouds parted for their afternoon wedding and the sun came out just in time for their “I do’s”. Emily was one of the most laid back brides ever, even though she and her family coordinated their wedding themselves, she was still very calm and collected that day. She just wanted to get married:) The gorgeous sweetheart neckline and full skirt of her dress was breathtaking and her trademark smile was beaming ear to ear when she put it on. The day was filled with perfect DIY touches- the ring box Emily decorated, the centerpiece arrangements of eucalyptus and various white flowers were all made by hand, and even each of the bouquet were made by hand! We were floored at how much time and love went into making Emily and Kurt’s wedding day perfect. Not only did the rain hold off, but later on that night, sunset was a beautiful mix or soft orange and blue, making for some amazing portraits! The party went well into the evening, with everyone showing off their best dance moves and even some singing! We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating with Emily and Kurt that day, we cannot wait to see what the future holds for this awesome couple! Congratulations!!
